Academy First-Third Grade
Our first-third grade academy classe will meet twice a week. We will use the scientific method as we learn about weather, the water cycle, rocks, and plants. We will explore habitates and geography as we learn about where animals live. Students will study the wonders of the night sky in our astornony unit. We will learn about US symbols and holidays including fun holiday parties. We will study native people of the US and economics with a trading post. Students will learn about their community, country, and world in our 'Me on the Map' class. We will have fun exploring and building as we learn about simple machines. This class includes PE games, watercolors, storytime, a Christmas concert and a spring play.

We will us the book Me on the Map to learn about our place in the world. This fun class includes art, geography, science, and map skills.

We will complete STEM projects to go along with our fairy tale story time.
Wednesdays 12>00-1:30 1/17-3/6 $50
Students will learn about simple machines through stories, games, and lots of hands on activities. We will visit playgrounds on optional fieldtrip (10/13) to explore simple machines at work.
Wednesdays 12:00-1:00 Sep 20th-Oct 25th $40
We will study animal habitats and adaptations. We will learn about hibernation, the deciduous forest, and how animals survive winter. We will study the weather, complete fall art projects, and have fun with pumpkins. This class includes a halloween class party on 10/31. We will have a show on 10/28 to show off our art work and poetry memorization.

learn and perform Christmas songs in our performance on 12/16, Class includes holiday themed games and crafts.

Spring Musical
A candy land themed musical. Students will create backgrounds, learn song, participate in group choreography.

Animals
We will learn about biomes, ecosystems, animal habitats, and the food web. Students will complete and present and animal report.

Work with us
Our students are blessed when you share your talents with them. We love to have parents teach classes or help in our classroom. You can teach one of our classes or come up with your own. Some of the options for helping in our third-fifth grade class are listed, or chat with us about what you would love to add.

Teach a special one day class on any subject you love. Dance, knitting, science... 2 hour commitment. $40 tuition compensation
Social Media: Help us spread the word about the fun our students are up to. Post bi-weely on your feed about the fun things your kids are learning. Be sure and tag us in your post. $10 tuition compensation per month.
Art teacher: Run a simple art class. We provide the supplies and curriculum. 30 minute a week commitment. $25 a month in tution compensation
